We collect only what we need to quote, schedule, perform, and bill for tree work:

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
• Service details: the address where the work will happen, the trees and work involved, access notes, and anything you tell us about the property.
• Booking details: the date, time, and information you enter when you schedule a visit online.
• Photos: pictures of your trees, home, yard, and work area that we take before, during, and after a visit or job.
• Payment records: invoices, amounts, and payment status. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Communications: emails, messages, and notes from our conversations with you.

2. How We Use It

• To schedule site visits and jobs, and to contact you about them.
• To prepare quotes, plan the work safely, and document the job site before and after work.
• To send invoices, take payments, and keep business and tax records.
• To respond to questions or concerns, and to resolve any issue with the work.

We won’t use photos that show your home, address, or people in our marketing without your permission.

3. How We Share It

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our customer management and forms software, online scheduling, email, website hosting, and payment processing. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, our crew, or others.

4. Our Website

This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information such as IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and running. The online booking calendar is provided by a scheduling service, which handles the information you enter in it under its own privacy policy.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep customer records, including photos, for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our business, tax, and legal obligations. After that, we delete them or keep them in a form that no longer identifies you.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including limiting access to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take care to protect what you share with us.

7. Your Choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing office@idahotreesmiths.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as invoices.

8. Children

Our services are for adults, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
